RichM seanc80 paying top dollar for the views as it’s at the top of one of the skyscrapers in the city. It’s open 24 hours a day which I find strange as I can’t imagine they get many people eating there throughout the night
Jules72 Bordelaise…. French restaurant in Tooting market… I could feel HIS presence close by… other than that, a very good steak and frites
mono-stereo Next time you’re in the area carefully crumble 100g of Stinking Bishop into and around your hoop as a fail safe.
baggers44 Smallman1 have you been to Honey and Smoke on Gt Portland St? - similar vibe i think. Really good.
RichM Went here last night https://45jermynst.com/ First time trying proper caviar, was nice, and fucking expensive! The beef Wellington was sensational though, worth the trip just for that
Jules72 Margot in Covent Garden… pre theatre (went to see Lehman trilogy which was excellent), Cecconi’s-wannabe Italian…. Expensive but not as good
baggers44 Jules72 great play - really imaginative staging - the 3 hrs flew by. not been to Margot in yrs.
Millsy Went here yesterday https://ottolenghi.co.uk/restaurants Was alright. I actually preferred https://www.thisisamber.co.uk/ which I visited on Weds night, same cuisine.
Jules72 baggers44 yeah great performances and very clever production.. 3 hours on a Friday night is tough though - think it could have been 30 mins to an hour shorter… must be exhausting for the actors
