baggers44 Along_the_Wire have you worked out how to use 4 channels on the Link to RB on the laptop yet - it is all a bit confusing for me!!!!
Along_the_Wire baggers44 Not yet, not overly fussed with that yet as I got the XDJ so I could lose the laptop.
IndustryStandard Remember the pages of deals at the back of DJ Mag back in the day, technics with an MRT60/Vestex/PA/Sound system ……buy on credit with about 30% apr. Entry into the world of DJing in those days was a very expensive business , and don’t get me started on import double packs bought just for a 3minute dub. 😕
ScottBailey Amps at over 2g’s each, I’d expect them to come with Sky Sports, Netfix and a hotplate for your coffee!
Homegrove A lot of comments said why would you buy these, and a mixer, instead of a XZ. Although I guess those comments miss the fact that the CDJ-3000 is not meant for home use.
Amps Homegrove A lot of comments said why would you buy these, and a mixer, instead of a XZ. Because it looks like a Fisher Price toy?
Amps Homegrove I know, I have a bit of a bee in my bonnet about the all in ones, I’m only teasing. I’ve never used one so I can’t really say what they are like, but I’ll bet they’re boss for home use.
Dubman Seeing as you can’t get stanton 500al mk2 cartridges anymore. What’s a good cartridge to get. I’ve never used ortofon Concorde’s but they seem very popular.
LT42 Dubman The Ortofons are really durable, I didn’t notice much of a sound difference with them but then again I didn’t have an expensive monitor set up at the time either.
Homegrove Dubman I got this one on my one remaining deck, sounds really good IMO. https://www.ortofon.com/club-p-813

Dan Amps My mates had one for years. Looks the nuts. He paid about £850 for it, and it’s now worth about £1100.
